The 1236 looks like quite a machine. I like the gear box option it has.
I am surprised it comes with a Digital Read Out (DRO) but NOT a Quick Change Tool Post (QCTP). Are you planning to install a QCTP?

Addertooth, it comes with a lot, but a lot is a la carte. Was way more than I had planned to spend because they were out of the standard stands, only had the upgrade motor, and I really wanted the DRO.
So the QCTP was part of the preferred package, it comes with all the chucks, etc. The upgraded motor adds two years of warranty. The cry once is pretty intense right now ;-)
