Follow Rest Repair Options-Ideas Please

Oh man, that’s great!
Smart fellow.
I’m wrapping up my repair.
Just need to drill and pin the new bolt I made today.
I used 4140, it doesn’t machine like 12L14.

Was that an import rest? Hard to believe the workmanship on those adjusters-maybe a poorly shop made replacement by previous owner?
