This one is for you benmychree Top speed pedal to the metal or as we used to say it "Its Floor boarded"! When starting on high speed the flat belt wants to slip so I just give it a little nudge and it takes off, but you can tell the belt has stretched over the years. I may have Mark make me a wide belt for it. The drill press is really just a toy for my pleasure since I have another drill press and 2 vertical mills not to mention I gave a floor model to my son. The new switch came in the mail today and I did get it installed and working but it started raining so I just closed up the shop and went inside. Snuggles gets scared when it starts storming. And I just can't stand seeing her scared.
