I put the pieces in the parts washer this morning.
I then ran a grinder test. The sparks split like a sparkler.
That surprised me. There are some interesting properties to this stuff.
I'll use it to make some machinists jacks or something. It has to be strong enough to withstand the suspension and steering demands of an F-250 4X4, diesel pickup.
Makes me consider what the content of the over seas aftermarket offers compared to the original??

I paid $51 for an 18" piece of chrome molly 1/2" X 1/4". ??
