This just popped up on Craigslist. It’s about 15 minutes from my house. Any thoughts or information?

For $350 it is either a scam or you have shamelessly wasted your time posting this thread.
If it is missing major components you could part it out on eBay and make 3x your money.

I don't think I ever before saw a lathe with the tailstock on backwards.

The cabinet key is there too.

The listing even shows the street address.
I looked at Google Maps. Nice neighborhood.
Email the seller ask for his phone number, hook up the trailer, and park in his driveway.
Two or three heathy guys can drag it up trailer ramps.

If the seller meant $3500 (not $350) walk away, unless you're loaded.

It's an excellent hobby lathe. Are the cabinets loaded with accessories? Looks like it needs some TLC and Bob's your uncle.

Could be a scam or maybe he meant $3500. Just saw it. I just ordered a lathe yesterday, but may check on this one tomorrow anyway.

If I was in your part of the world and wanted a hobby lathe, I'd spend the night in the truck, in his driveway.
If it's for real, it will evaporate in a wink.
