I'm closer to you - but the other thread was talking about what makes quality tool posts, etc, and the need for anti-rotation devices. Someone took issue with the need for them.DOC's like you describe are far beyond the capabilities in my shop, they seem industrial as opposed to the dabbler that I am. Typically I'm happy if something looks roughly like my drawing, and it hasn't taken me a month to make!
In the ELS world, it isn't a bad idea to consider making your tool post fixed for rotation as well. but that's my bias. Remove possible sources of error so I don't screw up.....
