Ebay--- time well spent

It was time to buy a few bandsaw blades, I did some shopping but still thought the prices where to high so I started shopping Ebay. I needed bands 145 inches long which is not real common. My first score was about two weeks ago---- 10 bands for $35.00 plus $12.00 shipping--they where only 1/2 and I like 3/4 plus--- I still jumped all over the deal. Yesterday I found a set of 3 bands for $50.00 free shipping-- these bands where awesome--- 3-4 TPI and Bimetal to top it off--- these will be great for resawing wood. This has me restocked for less than a $100.00 bucks---- I am a happy camper.
The cool part---- no one was bidding against me.
The slickest way would be buy a bandsaw blade welder and buy over length blades.

Sounds like you did good Gary. Theirs nothing better than going to an auction and being the only one bidding.

If you have, or know someone who has a TIG welder, you can weld band saw blades with it.
