Drill press belt tensioner mechanism

Works great on my 3 month old 20" Jet.

OP here.

I've got the drill press all re-assembled and lubricated and the belt tensioner seems to be working well.

My 15 year old Harbor Freight drill press uses the same system and like others has never failed. But I think a complete redesign is in order. so as to keep persice tension at all times
