Yeah I thought about incorporating a core into the mould for the spindle hole but it’s very long and skinny so I thought it would tear off during de-moulding. There might be a way to do though. It may complicate the mould some to ensure the core stays centred while still leaving room to pour but it may work. Right now my mould is two pieces and I pour from the spindle end, so there would have to be some kind of cupola affair to hold the core. As usual though, for an end result of two-dozen parts one spends the first 23 refining the process!

No truer words were written. I never seem to get any new process down till it almost done. The real trick is remembering what I did if I have to come back to it.
