DZ, I don't feel that an apology is neccesary. You do beautiful work. The post was very informative to anyone that has struggled with knurling like myself. I could read an entire chapter on knurling, if it helped me get better at it. Thanks

Here's the front, rear, & the middle where the 2 pieces join. I carbidized the tips & simulated grooves on one of the points.
Yeah, another great video. Just a shame Tom had to turn down the shaft to a diameter that fit the knurl. I guess to do it the other way around you'd need a bunch of different size knurls (or tpi). If I had to have a particular diameter shaft and I only had one knurl, I'd probably have just chucked the formulas and double-knurled it. Just sayin
