DIY Homemade Lamp Running off PM Research Model Generator

Very nice lamp Jim. I liked the puffs of smoke coming off the generator too.:) I have some model steam equipment also....automobile, traction engine, workshop of tools and an engine/boiler unit. I do still enjoy running them occasionally. I'll check out the PM Research generator kit. Thanks for posting!

Thanks jcp much appreciated....I 'think' I forgot the old adage that "one drop is enough" and instead went with "If one drop of oil is good, two's gotta' be better" when I oiled it and got some onto the armature .
Love to see some pics of what you have in your collection. I haven't ventured down the train rabbit hole as yet as I'm running out of room as it is :)
