This one was giver me by a friend. It seems to have been very lightly used and in good shape.

That was a good find,

I have one exactly like yours except---- I bought it from a scrap iron yard with no magnet and no cord. It does have a 3/4 chuck that is good and the drill runs very nice with the reverse and forward control. I made it so that I can bolt it to my bench and only use it for large holes. 1 inch is the largest bit I have. anything larger I drill on my sons mill. I paid 5 dollars for it. Tool Maker.

I have used them to drill holes in truck frames for remounting suspension etc. They are worth their weight in gold in that application.

By the way, Charlie, I too would like to hear more about this big shovel. Would you mind starting a thread on that in the Member's Hangout?? It should be a good read, even if there are no pics to share.
