The oil worked great. Within minutes I was able to move the handle with a little help with my rubber mallet.
Adjusting the belts is a breeze now.

I had to do the same thing on my 1975 Rockwell 1124 let it soak them climb up on the workbench and pull on the motor and it worked with some force but it moved.
