Looking at a SYIC product pdf and they offer NT30 toolholder's w/a 1/2-12 drawbar thread.

All my 30 taper toolholders are 1/2 13, perhaps the offering was for the British market.

I have a 70s Taiwan drill press with some 1/2"-12 fasteners on it
