Central Air Conditioning and Serpents; Death by Electrocution

When we first bought our Caribbean winter home the cistern pump wouldn't run. After checking the cap, and external wiring I pulled the motor down and found an 18" snake skeleton. Had to replace the shorted motor. Mike
 
We had a snek do a real poor imitation of a 13.8kv fuse in a ground mount load break disconnect at work a couple weeks back. He was...well done.
 
The vast majority of AC failures (especially in hot areas) are related to the motor cap. They're usually under $20 if you don't need it in a hurry, so worth having a spare on hand.
