Anybody buy from CDCO. They have a good price on BXA tool post holders. Even with shipping it is best price I can find. I know they are all made in
China so none are better just prices.
Yep, I buy from him several times a year. If you go to the "resources" list, they're mentioned in there. I used to work a few miles from that place. It's a small shop with a lot of stuff crammed inside -Pretty much a 1-man operation.

Just ordered from them a week or two ago - all was well with normal/3-4 day shipping.
Did have one problem with there web site and Firefox (during check out) saying there security cert was bad - i did a web search about it and whent back and finished my order ignoring the error.
I guess I'm in the minority here - I have had nothing but headaches dealing with him. Sure the orders arrive fairly fast, but the products are sub-par, and trying to correct errors or problems is like pulling teeth with that guy. I'd never spend another nickel at that place.....but that's just my experience.
I had problems and it took a lot of complaining to get it fixed. 5C chuck broken on arrival and I ordered 4 of the BXA holders and 3 wouldn't work because the dovetails weren't close to being dovetail shaped. The one I kept won't keep the toolbit tightened. That order took emails to him, postings in a couple of forums and on my own website and a complaint to a magazine he advertises heavily in before he finally got around to taking them back and refunding my money.
And the BXA holders may all have the same numbers on them but they are not the same. The ones from CDCO are at least an inch shorter than the ones from everyone else. Exact same number, but not close to being the same item.
Two chucks with backing plates, a quick change assembly, boring head and bars and misc R8 tooling all came in working order. The DRO I got works great but one of the shields was short and had to be modified to work for me. Considering I am buying stuff from China I am happy.
I have to use a mail drop below the 49th and then carry it through customs.... minimal hassle and sometimes they wave me through.
Brassmagnet... since you're near Milwaukee you should visit CDCO's booth at Seven Mile Fair. The only things I bought was a 7 piece set of R8 collets. They work great and was stupid cheap at $26. I do want to get BXA wedge tool holders and an 8" rotary table. Can't believe some of the prices this guy has.
