Can I get in trouble if I paint my Enco to look like a Jet Elite?

I'm not sure I'd say 'paint it how you want'. Anybody remember the pink and purple lathe somebody posted from a Craig's list ad a year or so back...YUCK!

I'd vote for Cub Cadet yellow and white using IH Iron
Guard paint, but that's just me!!

Or, the dark grey Case/IH color I used on my SB9A cabinet.

I hang out on a couple of Ford Tractor forums.
Some times they go round and round about "correct" paint colors.
The original color of a 9N Ford tractor was a medium dark gray.
A lot of guys paint their 9N Red/light gray to look like the later 8N Ford.
Generally there is no issue with that.
Or Pink if it is for a worthy cause.
Or even Blue like the much later Ford Tractors.
And then there is always some one who paints his 9N to look like a John Deere.
That color scheme is almost universally despised.

When I was 13 I ran a junky old Sherman backhoe for my Dad. It was mounted on an early 50's Ford tractor with a manure loader on the front.

He then soon bought a new Superior loader for it and in 1959 he traded and bought a new Ford TLB w/select-O-to speed with a Sherman Panther backhoe & loader. IIRC, it was a 911.
I had what they called an "inching" petal. One could really do some slow motion precise loader work with it. Like when backfilling on a lawn to protect the sod and not gouge it all up, or in the winter while pushing snow and searching for a curb or other known obstacle under a snow bank.

I wasn't so much worried about using a correct Enco Paint Color, I was worried about getting myself in hot water with Jet Manufacturing for using a similar Paint Scheme.... I really like how the Jet Elite line looks.

We have had windy weather almost every day this last week so I've been painting in spurts... I'll post the stand when its completed, Its coming out pretty good... I'll be placing vinyl lettering with Enco Ultra on it for fun.

As for all those tractors, that red and gray one would be my pick... Shes nice.

The stand is almost done and came out pretty nice, the Industrial Krylon paint covered very well. I just have a couple minor details to take care of and the stand is done.... I am going to build a matching back splash and paint the Lathe too, let's just hope jet takes this all as a compliment.

Thanks for everyone's input, much appreciated.
