Can anyone recognize a diamond with a micron "u" inside? I bought a bunch of stuff from Goodwill. A vernier depth gauge came in a box with this brand. looks like an estate sale. It looks like everything has an Enco sticker on it, so he bought a lot from them. I did too but none of my stuff has this brand. Here is a link to a current auction, plainly showing the brand and Enco part number. Was this their own brand and do you know the likely manufacturer of this? Thanks. Charles

Never seen it before, but based on the box it came in, it is likely an import. Made in China.

It has all the hallmarks of a "Your Name Here" import. I've found mine (totally different "your name here" imports), to actually be kinda good. That's NOT a guarantee that they all are, you'd need to be able to qualify them. If the starting bid is what it was when I looked, worst case, they'd make a handy set of little "C" clamps....

I'm not buying them. Lord knows I have enough Mics. I bought an auction for $100 from the same Goodwill with same name on the boxes. Got a Dietzen Trammel, Mitutoyo dial caliper and depth micrometer set, Fowler caliper, Smiec 12" caliper, Enco 2" dial indicator and a vernier depth caliper with the diamond brand. It looks like everything came from Enco. The vernier caliper seems to be real precision. Just curious if anybody has seen this brand before.
