I know people that have bought furniture, used it for a holiday party, and returned it. As a kid I worked for Prange Way department store. Their moto was "It's not yours until you like it". Sad as it was people were returning worn out shoes, jeans with holes in them, furniture and accessories that were several years old, full of food stains and cigarette burn holes, cameras that had been dropped and destroyed, and lamps and other furnishings simply because they were no longer in style.

That is just disgusting. Has society fall that low? (rhetorical)

Pretty odd I guess.

But if I’d modified a part and then returned it expecting a refund, I don’t think I’d tell anyone.

The pre return inspection having not been done certainly makes the block unwarranted.

Now as a former seller, I can say I don’t have any qualms about blocking people from my listings. I sell CHEAP. And in my opinion when the asking price is half the cost of every other example on the bay, you don’t get to ask questions. If I wanted to spend time answering questions, I’d ask full price.

I’m also a member of old EBay. This is an auction. Make your bid, take your chances. Again, if you pay full price for my items, then you get some level of customer service. But if it’s a $.99 starting bid, no reserve auction listing, you keep it. If you do return it, you’ll never buy from me again.

Sounds like the OP isn’t really bothered about it. So there you are. Some stuff on AliExpress isn’t good. Noted. lol
