Best way to clean Thread files

Clip the end of a popsicle stick with a pair of diagonal cutters. That will give you a nice, straight, slightly splintery edge for cleaning.

Works great. Where would I get bamboo. I'd like to try that.

They usually sell bamboo bowls and utensils at Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc.
