Bench Mill: Aftermarket Power Down Feeds?

General Question;

I'm trying to determine the installion price range is for an "aftermarket" power down feed (from less expensive to higher end kits) and how that compairs with the cost of buying a new machine with the option already installed.

I'm looking at PM-(833TV/932M/940M). So in PM's current supply chain climate, this extra feature may increas leadtime or shipment delay anywhere from a few months to 7 months out depending on the model.

I realize this is an older post but, my 2 cents worth, I bought a PM940V and like it very much. When I decided to buy a mill I decided there would likely be plenty of little things I would need/want to do so I bought mine with all the bells and whistles because I was buying it to use not to work on. I did not want to buy a project, had that been what I was looking for there are plenty of old Bridgeports sitting about that would make great projects....
