well mine is not pretty, but after using it a while it will be less pretty. It will definitely hit the front clamp area of the vise and get beat up.
Handle is anodized tubing I had with a lip so I could recess the screw. just a 1/4 20 long carriage bolt with the head cut down, the square removed, then slotted . works as it should. Didn't overthink it, just made it.

I added a tube behind it to keep it out and away from the bearing so it had clearance.

Now do the hex version everyone wants to buy from this guy.


Could I make my own? Sure.


Would it be worth it in time and materials when this guy is selling them for ~$25? Not at all.

Ive got bigger and more interesting fish to fry.

3" vises (Mini-Mill size) need 12mm handles: Madyma only has 9/16" & 3/4"; others also offer 5/8"

I'm a has been... has been a lot of things, winding down these days and .... now mostly memories.

It would be a good rotary table project, but then again I could cheat and have our wire EDM lady cut the hexes for me.

Dammit, now I want to make one, see what you did.
