Atlas 10D lathe barn find

The lathe I found and brought home seems to have been dropped finding bent pulley and broken handles . I wonder if I wasting mine time and money.
Total to date is 256 dollars I was planning on complete tear down. And rebuild.

Wor to be with in .001" . With very little wear I stoned thenicks
flat.The Babbitt bearings showed little wear with shim's under the
caps.Replaced broken hand wheels and straiten the tail stockshaft.
replacedthe broken motor mount. Found the main drive shaft gear
showingwear. Replaced the gear. Replaced broken saddle drive gearbox.
Repainted all parts gray.
