AR15 / .22LR question

This is actually a dedicated upper, so the chamber insert is not part of the kit. I apologize for the "dirty pictures", but the parts have since been cleaned. I did (after those pictures) do some polishing. The ramp was a little rough, so some careful work with Cratex (by hand) and it is slick now. The slides are lightly stoned with a ceramic stone to make sure they are smooth, flat and aligned.....they were aligned, something I had already looked at. I have not yet polished the spring guide rod, but that will be done. all of the kit parts appear to be ENP, so I do not want to remove that. So far, nothing has been so rough that it was needed to smooth it up though.

CCI Stingers are the hottest round I have on hand, and I have not tried them yet. It would provide clues to the problem though.

Can't thank you enough for the suggestions so far. I'll let you know what happens next.

I have no experience with the AR's, but worked yrs on warranty for most brands of 22 LR. One of the most common problem was that the chamber was not smooth enough where the firing pin struck the case rim. A burr in this area will slow down the ejection of the fired case. Just my 2 cts

Did you get your reliability issues resolved. I had some similar issues with mine. I found increased reliability trying different ammo to find what it liked and increasing round count to break in the conversion parts. What magazines are you using? I have been using black dog.
Hope you figured things out!
