It is a fabricated copy of an automotive Ford 9" with special bracing where they are the weakest for drag racing.

A little more from this weekend for those interested, I forgot to take the picture before loading the tools. The floor walls are tacked in, next is to weld the floor, and cap the piece over the frame.

One wall is welded in, and the cap tacked on.

Looks better, but I was tired, and didn't quite finish. The floor is welded full length from underneath, I didn't cut the tacks down yet.

Trunk is closed up, next, sliding perch mounts, and ride height. Very hard to see in the picture, but I think I like it.

I used to do that on citroen and renault cars, i'll put on a 1.0liter badges on a V6 car. I've got few strange looks at stop lights when i blow there doors off, few comments like that thing won't move at all with those wide tires and 1 litre engine.
