Check the other side of the chuck for fasteners or threaded holes designed to push the backing plate out. They might be under the jaws. If none, it should be easy enough to make a puller. Use a disc bigger than the chuck that will bolt on with the 3 big center bolts. Tap the ouside of the disc for 3 bolts that can pust against the chuck to pull out the backing plate. If you play your cards right, you can use the same disc for your new backing plate.
