This thread is arguably the post popular of all on the Forum. It would be a shame to see it closed because of bickering amongst members. We all have our own opinions as the to pluses and minuses of EV's A bit of sarcastic humor is part of what makes this thread work but we shouldn't be turning it into a debate.

I am glad we didn't change.


I work around a bunch of people who's brain is active.
Knowing conversions, some doing the math in their heads. Machinist have to access every detail in the operation, most I find don't think anything of it.
About 10 years ago after a great Thanksgiving dinner, we we were just conversing around the table when I noticed the older two boys arguing. Listening closer I realized they were arguing about tooling...they were calculating the speeds and feeds in their heads while arguing.
We worked in a shop that did aircraft work.
