So true! I do check my pockets routinely but every now and then something slips by which my wife will point out to me, Some eight years ago, our front loading washer failed for an unrelated reason. Upon investigating, I found an Allen wrench in the drain line. It was small enough to fit through the holes on the drum. Had it made it to the pump, it would have been a catastrophic failure.
