By having the feeder hooked up as you well know, he is just making a switch somewhere. Figure out what line it is and bypass it so it believes the feeder is running. Too bad we don't live closer because I would have a beer while I watched you figure that out. :beer:

Yes it would involve changes to whats called the logic ladder I've read. Mistakes there could be catastrophic. So for now just get the machine in and running. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon. I will probably set the feeder beside it and go from there. I'd like not to have the feeder hooked up so I could get the lathe as close to the mill as I can to cut down walking. Things have changed for me sice I've had a stroke. Hopefully I can push the lathe around on the skates I have.

I do wish you could be here, I'll probably need a beer after all this.
 

Is this is reference to my "New To Me" CNC lathe and my lack of skills? :laughing:

I've not got in trouble with it yet. Still trying to get the ball screw out for repair. :mechanic:

But soon that may be what my part sees :grin:
