My wife and I were out enjoying the 73 degree sunshine yesterday.
I stumbled upon this old farm implement.
It appears to be an automated seed planting device.

How old is it?
Manufacturer?

Thanks for your help

Yes, i’m with frankly2 and mmcmdl, an old seeder now posing as yard art.
this is ours, it originally had wooden handles, was Armstrong operated, & the smaller wheel covered the seed.
Even has a rudimentary gearbox to drop seed at different intervals.
Jeff, the one in your pic looks to be a larger version & I suspect was horse-drawn.
Both very old.

Old corn planter. Are the river pictures the Feather River? Both the Sacramento and Feather are up due to the rains we have had.
