I tore it down and cleaned the moving parts up and took the rust off. Everything moves very smoothly now. I have not need to re wire the cord. It is shot.
Definitely not a beauty Queen. But it will function as designed. I need to make a spammer to remove the wheel. Then I can clean that up.

Tom, did you return to the Crime scene and find the collets? I hope you got lucky

I did I scoured that place for an hour. I only found 1. A 5/16 l. So I have 1/4 and 5/16. I also found 3 cup wheels and a magnetic chuck. 5 fine ruby stones. All in all a fantastic weekend of hunting.
