Still working on my not too good mill.
I have everything set to about .001 or less.
Mill works great.
Today I cut a piece and found that the Y travel and X travel are not square.
Rechecked my vise on the X axis and it is less than .0005.
I put a solid square in the vise and checked the Y axis.
Out about .010 in 6".
Checked with another so;id square and got the same reading.
.005 out in 4"
I suppose the only way to fix this is to scrap in the gibs.
The only problem I have with that is changing the angle on the gib plate.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you,
Dale
