Hi, just wondering is this a part that's on the mill or is it an add on? I might be thinking of the wrong thing. Connects to the main body, rotates vertical or horizontal.

The universal high speed subhead was an optional accessory. It attached to the cutter-head, not the the ram. So you have 90 degrees of rotation on the cutter-head plus 360 degree rotation on two axes for the subhead. You could do some pretty crazy setups with one.
