I'm looking for an early 20th-century milling machine to use in conjunction with an antique vertical attachment; ideally, I'd like to find a flat belt machine about the size of a Burke #4 . I'm planning on rebuilding it, so condition isn't critical.
I have a more modern ( 1940s) era Burke #4 that I have already rebuilt that I'm willing to trade for the right machine.
I'm in the NE OH area ( Akron/Canton.
Thanks,

Hey James. I'm in Canton area. There have been a couple just about free on Facebook Marketplace this summer including one with an M-head attached for $450. HGR always has small horizontals. They have a 1920's shaper currently.

Hi James, I do have a small horizontal mill and it’s in California. I think it’s a Hardinge? It’s buried in all my crap, so sorry, not much info right now. If I remember, the table is about 6” X 20”. Sorry, do not want to trade. Will dig it out if interested? Remember, it’s in California. Thanks…Dave

Thanks, Dave, but that's a bit too far and a bit too new of a machine to fit the bill, I think.
