Closed WTB MT5 Bullnose Live Center with Max OD above 8”

EDIT: I don’t need one anymore because I bought a new one for $999.

I am looking for an MT5 bullnose live center that I will use for 8” ID pipe (actually 7.981” ID).

The max OD must come in *under* 10”, otherwise it will interfere with my cross slide.

This would be perfect, but I can’t afford to spend that much at this time:

Would turning up a pipe plug with a 60* center hole in it work until you can find one you like?

That'd basically be free from your scrap pile, I'd think.

That looks like a significant hunk of iron, What does that beast weigh?
I find it interesting that it has a 75° nose and not the "normal" 60° nose.

I don’t know the weight yet, but the shipping was $99.
