Work, time goes by too fast with little done?

Any time I try to calculate how many parts I should get done today, I'm always some 25% off. Then right now I've got a several minute run time, and have just total 8 holes and some long burs totake off with a shaviv. I'm thinking it should take me 2 minutes tops but almost takes up 7 minutes, almost done milling.

Has anyone else had time issues when they were new? (I've been there less then a year but more then a month)
This should be 8-9 minutes total with run time and replacing the parts... But ends up being closer to 13 minutes at the end of the day. (7.5 hrs x 60 minutes = 450 minutes / 70 parts * 2 because running 2 parts = 12.8571 minutes per run)

I've also had times where I would clock myself and in my calculation with excessive part swap time I should have made way more parts then I ended up making. Example, 5 minute run time, 1 minute part swap, but will add a extra minute for part swap to give myself more of a chance but will still be slower then that... I think I might be getting lost in deburring, but don't know why time goes by so fast when I do so...

What gives? This is bothering me as I want to get better and show I'm worth my pay... or more.... or not get fired for being sloth slow...

Thanks,
