Of course cutting with flood coolant is ideal for production but I opt to cut dry. No mess, smell and clean up is easy with a shop vac.
A good M42 blade every year and it cuts beautifully. I wouldn’t dream of using coolant in my home shop unless the volume of cutting warranted. A blade is $40 for my saw that would take quite an increase in blade life to offset the cost of the coolant never mind the hassles.
