Found this at a local flea market and I am stumped in my efforts to identify the manufacturer.
507 is visible on one side but the rest of the numder/lettering is not legible

my guess would be a smallish watchmaker style lathe, the ones with the solid bed with the slot down the middle to secure the carriage to the bed. Many of them have that outer angle to help locate the headstock, carriage and tail stock. Measure from the bottom of the rest to the mid point where the fingers would meet. That'll give you an idea of swing and help you narrow down the search.

Something like a Levin, for example

That looks WAAAYYY bigger than for a watchmaker's lathe.

Well ok guys, you tell me what it's for then. That will fit a watchmaker style bed.

Maybe like a Hardinge split bed lathe?

Well, I don't know. LOL.
I don't even know what lathes have a watchmaker-style bed, nor what it looks like.
