where can I buy square plastic storage tubes like those used for endmills?

I got a bunch of glass test tubes with rubber stoppers to store taps with the proper drill needed for them. That way I always have the right drill and it is only used for tapping so keeps sharp longer and don't have to hunt down which to use every time.

Thanks, that's a good find. I'll have to think about this, because they require you to buy everything in quantities of 25, and that could get expensive if you need several sizes.

I know the type of tubes you mean. My vague recollection is that they're called "bolt boxes," after the fact that they have screw-thread-like grooves. But web searches for "bolt box" just get you containers for nuts and bolts.

I did try eBay, searching for "storage tube plastic," and used "gallery view" to rapidly scan the pictures. Found the following:

Here's what I use. They have both round (caps are square) and square tubes in 4 ft length. You cut to fit your need.
