What the heck is this?

I bought one of those for the shop at work before I retired. It seemed like it would do about every kind of sharpening. Wish I had one at home. It would even sharpen drills up to very large sizes.
 
I sent an email but have not heard back yet.

I'm trying to figure out how much it weighs, and have found posts on the web that put it anywhere between 600 and 1500 lbs....:)
 
I guess it doesn't really matter what it is...:)

The poster has not answered 4 emails that I have sent in the last week.
