What Should I Do with All These Wooden Drawers?

My Dad & I are driving back from Home Depot now. We spent $151 on 17/32” plywood, 4 non-locking casters, wood glue, and 1” X 3” pine trim.

Home Depot did not have tiny knobs. I need to look on Amazon for 54 very small knobs.

We are going to make a 6 story chest.

Each story is a 21” X 21” plywood square with 1” wide trim sides.

The base will have the plywood doubled up with countersunk hardware for the casters.

I found two very presentable 21” X 21” squares of plywood which will be the sides.

I’m going to stain everything on the outside, including the drawers, because the 20” X 20” X 20” box that is going to set on top of this chest of drawers has a dark finish.

Get out the welder and make a frame out of angle iron with angles to slide the drawers into. Paint it black. Weld on some casters if you want it to move. Wood and metal gives a nice contrast
