What Kind Of An Endmill Is This?

I found a couple Endmills like this in a box of endmills I purchased. They are sharp, but not sure what they are used for. The top looks very endmillish, but the sides look a bit more like tap. I get the shape of a roughing endmill, but this endmill looks like it would just cut grooves into a slab. Its 1" in diameter.

Looks like a fine rougher to me.

Yep. That's a roughing end mill.

Looks like a plunge cutting corn cob end mill.

One nice thing I like about roughing end mills, they leave small chunky chips. Easy to clean up. Not like regular end mills that leave long wiry sharp chips that wind up stuck in you like a porcupine has hit you with its spines.
