What do I buy a hobby-machinist friend for his birthday?

I love getting machinist stuff for my birthday- stuff that I need and haven't bought yet or stuff that I wouldn't treat myself to.

How about a used Starrett #232 0-1/2" micrometer? I bought myself one off eBay to carry in my pocket - they're just a touch over 3"long, and as handy as a pocket knife. . .

Well My birthday is April 1st ( HONEST !) and I need a decent angle vise something about 2-3 inches compact quality about halfway between shop fox and a Kurt.... otherwise my hands fit the wheel of a late model Chevy Avalanch... take your choice
