First, thank you for posting a photo of your vise. I can see where a vise like that could be very useful. I also would like to see more photos of it. Is there a set of plans available for such a vise?

I will try to get some plans or drawing with measure?
I have not draw it, only built after a drawing, but I shall try to get some more info.

I´m drilling 12 mm hole in a bracket from a rear axle from a Volvo Amazon. The rear axle went in to my Volvo Duett, and I don't need the bracket. It is fun to reuse parts.
The bracket will be use for fastening may lathe to the floor.
I need 8 peaces, and I took what I had....
( I am a hobbymechanic´s), so I don't have a lot of material at home...
