Use As Rotary Table?

can i use machine vice in pic as sort of rotary table?
its not for milling i need to make 2 discs with holes equally spaced around edge for project.
thinking if i clamp it to drill table it should work.

Your two main issues will be (1) centering the workpiece in the vise (ie, making sure the center of rotation of the vise is located exactly below the center of your part) and (2) your ability to precisely set the rotational angle of the vise with the (relatively) small scale provided on the base. (also - be sure the "rocking" arc is set to zero, so the vise is horizontal.) If the sum of these errors is within acceptable limits, you should be fine. It's not the most elegant solution in the world, but if it gets the job done, go for it!

Its not super critical.
Only so I turn part around to work on and put pin through hole to lock at angle.

If the holes in the two discs need to align with each other or another part, then clamp them together and drill thru both at the same time.
