Tools4Cheap Chuck

I have a Logan 820 in need of a new chuck - the inside jaws are missing and I've finally gotten around to some work where I need to use inside jaws.

I'm looking at this chuck/backing plate and wondering if anyone has installed one on a Logan. Does it fit without modification? How is the quality?

Backing plates usually have to have a registration dia turned while threaded onto your spindle. Search for thread on that. I have bought several times from Tools4cheap and have aways been happy both with the product and price/shipping.

I was looking at a Die Filer that Hagar had at a good price but the shipping from Ohio to Alabama was 600.00. Then I noticed Jeff had the same one cheaper and the shipping was 150.00. Jeff will go out of his way to help you.

I have 2 chucks I got from him and they are real good quality.
