Wondering if anyone with a 1D Toolmaster has a picture (preferably a closeup) of the micrometer stop dial on the quill.
Mine may have a part missing, it's #365B but there is an asterisk that says manual feed machines only???? My mill has power feed. The power feed works perfectly in both directions but there is a piece of notched aluminum plate under the micrometer dial that doesn't belong there and if I remove it, there is a gap (and a lot of slop) between the micrometer dial, #366B spring. and the "block" That just doesn't look right which is why I suspect something is missing, improperly assembled or wrong parts are installed.
The parts manual has a drawing of that part but it's not helping like a picture can. I'd like to get an idea of what it looks like so I can gather enough information to make whatever it is that goes there if I can't find a genuine Cinci replacement part.
Trying to clean up some of the jury rigging.
