To me a tool gloat is when you get something that's highly desirable or uncommon and at a great price. I've been looking for a metal bender for a couple of years. I missed a DiAcro for $50 about 2 years ago. Last week I spotted a small metal bender on Craigslist and emailed the seller right away. By the next AM I had a phone number to call and phoned first thing. I told him I wanted the metal bender and that I was an hour and a half away and was leaving after we hung up. It took longer to get there than I thought. When I arrived there was a woman looking over the stuff, and when I approached he told her I was the one who had called him about the bender, so I had first dibs. I glanced at it and said sold. It turns out she was a dealer; the kind of person who makes our hobby more expensive. I thanked the man for saving it for me. I bought a few other items. The bender is a Duo-Mite 50000 and it came with all the parts it was supposed to along with the bench mounting accessory and the edge bending accessory. The price - I paid $25 for it and it looks like it was never used. No rust or anything. The current selling price - if you can find one is $400.
