I have been working on this since I got my new lathe, and just finished it last week (well, it still needs drawer covers, and a permanent benchtop, but it can store things, and I am moving on for now. Material is 1"x0.063 square tubing and 3/4" plywood for sheathing. The drawer boxes are poplar. The top drawer is designed to hold my surface plate. The drawer on the lower left holds my 3 and 4 jaw chuck, and should also hold the collet chuck if I rotate one of the chucks in. Everything is painted orange to match my welding cart. Eventually it will have a black benchtop, and aluminum drawer faces.

Nice job! Looks like you have enough room above your chucks to put in another sliding shelf.

That's the plan. I have the shelf built, but I need to get another pair of slides. I think I'm going to use that one for my 2J collets.
