I went to home depot on the way home and got some concrete for my GF to make some stepping stones and she came and got me and showed me this. I was floored. The exact same model. I guess an 80 degree summer day is the best time to buy a heater :)

I got home and tried my saw out an it sounded like something was skipping for lack of a better word. I pulled it apart and found the plastic sprocket had no teeth left on it. So I went online and got a new sprocket and a chain ordered for $30 with shipping. So I have $50 in the saw, still not a bad deal I think.

I will be looking for more sales tomorrow :)

I'll help you double your money on that dog of a vise :)

Nice pile of stuff for the shop :)

That's a very tempting offer Henry, can I get back to you on that???? :makingdecision:

I'm pretty happy with what I found, especially the heater. I was looking this week on CL for one.

I'm thinking maybe I should go buy a lotto ticket :happyhappy:

Been busy last night and this morning. My "dog" of a vice isn't as much of a dog now :))

You do nice work. If you run out of things to do, you can come over to my shop and start cleaning and painting my machines.

Excellent score, you officially suck!. Now the hand held band saw(?) is interesting, as far as I know we have never had an equivalent type of tool in the uk, but the motor body is the same shape as a Black and Decker industrial drill I used back in the 60's What is the make? I can't see the tag in the pics.

Thanks for the offer Jim. Two temping offers from both you and Henry :)

Phil:

I'm glad I'm official

It's a Milwaukee. I'm very sold on Milwaukee tools.

Earlier this summer I picked up a M18 1/2" drill kit for $50, and 3 extended charge batteries for $10 each. It's he best drill I've ever had bar none. My corded drill and my 1/2" air drill can't even match it for power. And the best thing is that the keyless chuck actually doesn't slip. It has this ratchet thing and you just turn it til the clicks stop and it will pull a burr on a drill bit shank and not slip. I was so impressed with it I got their 3/8" impact that uses the same battery and can pull the lug nuts off my Chevy Blazer with it. Also picked up a Sawzall. Uses a different battery, but still works great.

That's one heck of a score, especially on the Wilton bullet vise!
